2025 Mated Buckfast Queens

Our Buckfast queens arguably carry some of the best honeybee genetics available the world over. The Queens are all homebred by ourselves in the current year, 2025, They are bred direct from our tried and tested, pedigree breeder Queens and subject to our own colour marking system. The Queens come with several attendants and are kept in their own colonies, only to be removed the day before shipping. Newly mated queens kept like this, have proven in general, to be stronger egg layers, as they have never been subjected to Queen Banking, thus have been allowed to freely interact with their colony and never had their egg laying behaviour unduly halted.
