2026 Buckfast Nucleus Colonies – Pre-Order

Our 2026 Buckfast nucleus colonies are made up of a mix of five full frames of brood and food. They’re available on either National frames or Langstroth frames. Each colony is headed by one of our pedigree, 2026-bred Buckfast Queens. All our queens are selectively bred from proven parent stock for their calm temperaments, disease resistance, reduced swarming tendencies and excellent honey yields.

These bees are ideal for beekeepers of all levels. Our customers range from complete beginners taking their first steps on the emotional rollercoaster of beekeeping, to local Beekeeping Associations and seasoned bee farmers alike — such is their general quality and reliability.

As above, each nuc includes five fully drawn frames (National or Langstroth) with eggs, larvae, capped brood, and food stores, ensuring a healthy, balanced colony that’s ready to thrive. Your bees are supplied in a biodegradable cardboard travel box for safe and easy transport.

Colonies will be available from June 2026 onwards, weather permitting (this is England after all).
