Our 2027 nucleus colonies consist of a mix of five full frames of food and brood. Each colony is headed by one of our pedigree 2026-bred Buckfast queens – amongst the best you’ll find. They’re selectively bred for calm temperaments, strong disease resistance, reduced swarming tendencies, and excellent honey yields.

These bees are ideal for beekeepers of all experience levels. Our customers range from complete beginners taking their first steps on the emotional rollercoaster of beekeeping, to local Beekeeping Associations and seasoned “young” bee farmers alike – such is their quality and reliability.

Each nuc includes five fully drawn British Standard frames with eggs, larvae, capped brood, and food stores – ensuring a healthy, balanced colony that’s ready to thrive. Your bees are supplied in a biodegradable cardboard travel box for safe and easy transport.

Available from May/June 2027 onwards, weather permitting (this is England, after all).
