A unique lowland heath heather honey from the ancient Roman heathland of Sherwood Forest.

This year’s batch is a coarse in nature, lively flavoured honey, with taste notes galore. A sweet yet non sweet, moreish honey with a gentle reddish hue, transporting various spicy tangs to the pallette together with suggestive hints of a light smoke. The aromatics from the jar are simply superb, transposing the mystique, the hauntings, the rarity and the secretiveness of this great little heath. It’s not a Site of Special Scientific Interest for nothing.

If you’re into your honeys, and lowland heath heather honey in particular, this one’s a must-try. 2025 delivered an exceptional but low-yield vintage, thanks to an unusually dry summer – making this batch as exclusive as it is delicious.
