Our 2026 Buckfast Queens carry some of the finest honeybee genetics available anywhere. Each queen is homebred by us here in the UK during the 2027 season, raised directly from our proven pedigree breeder queens and marked using our own colour system.
Every queen is supplied with several attendants and kept within her own colony until just before dispatch. This method ensures that our newly mated queens remain strong, well-nourished and never subjected to queen banking. As a result, they maintain natural laying behaviour and consistently develop into powerful, reliable egg layers.
